Jamaasian High Questionnaire

Hello all Jammers!

This is a new page related to my upcoming Animal Jam pastiche, Jamaasian High – Karalee Edition!

The story is set in Jamaa’s fictional high school, and is only one of many blogger-written stories in the same vein. You can find a list of links to other JH (Jamaasian High) fanfictions and their sister stories here. (Note to self: Add this link too, Kara….)

The JH genre in itself is a new phenomenon for me, though the idea of collected, connecting short stories by different authors is not. Instead of having different “chapters” written in the same setting, Jamaasian High is a series of web-stories, all based on one central idea: that Jamaa must have some sort of a school system, and that the lives of the attendees must be very interesting.

Each author’s interpretation is different, from AJKraft’s zany, Minecraft-reference-laden funapalooza, to Lostfairy’s detailed, well-spun tale of a girl making new friends in a new place. I like to think of them all as parallel universes, and would be quite intrigued to see what would happen if an interdimensional portal united them for a short time! XD

Jamaasian High (as a place) is usually populated by human avatars instead of appearing as Animal Jam animals. These characters attending Jamaa’s most prestigious (and possibly only) high school can be YouTubers, bloggers, friends of the author, entirely fictional characters, or just anyone who would like to be added in!

With that in mind, I know I’ll need some vital information before writing my dimension’s cast of characters. Below, you’ll find a list of questions about how you’d like me to describe your character/avatar in the story, from some basic questions about hair and eye color, to a few more advanced ones about how you/your character would react in a given situation.

I endeavor to write the characters I am given accurately, to the best of my ability, and the more well-rounded the character is in my mind, the more likely it is that I will be able to write it to your satisfaction.

This page is a questionnaire/submission form for any Jammer who would like to be added to this rendition of the tradition. 😛  If you continue reading, I’ll assume it’s for the purpose of being added into the story, and speak to you as such.

Please Note: I am doing my best to keep all questions PII (Personally Identifying Information)-free. That means keeping out all real names, addresses, or definite locations (i.e. please don’t say, “I live on Lake Whatsitsname”, if said lake is really where you live). However, if there is a question you don’t feel comfortable with answering for any reason, please feel free to avoid that question or substitute a fictional answer.

If there’s a few questions you haven’t thought of the answers to, and don’t want to come up with, then you don’t need to, I can create that information as the story progresses. 🙂 I am giving participants the opportunity to furnish the many details of a well-rounded character, if they so choose. If there are aspects I have forgotten to include, please tell me in the comments along with your answers.

Another Please Note: I’m very open to OCs (Original Characters) being used instead of real-life depictions of you, in fact, I am doing so myself for the main character. The quirks and pet peeves don’t have to be your own, and the description used doesn’t have to be your real-life appearance. However, please don’t give your character blue skin for no reason. It’s really hard to explain in the narrative. XD Thanks.
